We were pretty pleased to be invited back to another Art Therapy Association of BC event, this time as the entertainment at a conference. Thanks to all the organizers for a fun evening!

As always, we were pleased to be invited back to Bruce's Country Market in Maple Ridge. Still the best Salmon around!
When playing for an audience you've never met before, you always wonder how the night will go. The awesome folks from the Art Therapy Association of BC gave us one of our best nights ever, dancing up a storm and really getting into the evening. A big thank you to all the folks at the Croatian Cultural Center for their help with setup. A great venue to play and a fantastic audience to play for. We couldn't have asked for more!
We really enjoy coming back to Apple Fest. This year Privateer Brian couldn't make it, so we pulled back to our roots with just a couple guitars and had three hours of fun playing songs we often don't get to play including some of our early folks tunes.
We've never played in Whistler until the LPVPA asked us to play for their summer social event and it was a blast. The band had a great time and were happy to have a number of school administrators come up on the stage to play their own tunes with the band backing them. A Privateer high five goes out to Adam, Kendra, Magdy and Carolyn for taking the mic at different parts of the night.
The fine folks from Maple Ridge Crossfit like to dance! This outdoor party was a lot of fun and while we had to call it on account of rain at around 11pm, the rest of the evening had been fantastic. Special thanks to the property owners for inviting us out!
We're always happy to help with a good cause and when our friends at Cheese Crafters asked us to be the entertainment for their Ridge Meadows Hospital Fundraiser, we were happy to oblige. Privateer Paul even had to get on a plane to get to the show as he was on vacation at the time. Vendors from dozens of craft beer and cider establishments also took part, offering up tasters of many of their goods to those participating in the event.
Maple Ridge has a lot of outdoor gatherings but we always like playing for the Dangerfields at their annual party and pig roast. The food was great as always as we played for around three and a half hours!
It's hard to believe, but the woman who helped support our music over the past 25+ years has turned 70! To celebrate, we played some favourites until the noise bylaws kicked in. Happy Birthday and thanks for all the support all these years!
The Privateers are once again honoured to play at Bruce's. Our yearly Mother's Day weekend show is on Saturday, May 13th this year, not Mother's Day, so be sure to stop by from noon till 3pm at Bruce's Country Market.
